Party Poker

Party Poker is one of the leading online poker rooms.

Party Poker Overview

Party Poker was the long reigning number one online poker site until the UIGEA passed and Americans were no longer allowed to play on the site. However, they are still the biggest poker room in Europe and third in the world, which is some compliment to the room.

What this shows is that with around half the target market unable to play at the site, Party Poker is still one of the most popular poker rooms in the world. This is down to their great software, frequent promotions and bonuses and the massive tournaments they run. Also the ease of being able to play on the casino and bingo rooms and also access to the sports book on the same account is a great advantage to playing at the site.

Party Poker Initial Deposit Bonus

Party Poker offers new depositors a 100% bonus up to a maximum $100, 100 or 100 depending on the currency of your account. To receive this bonus, you must use the bonus code XXXXXXXX when depositing.

As each currency is worth a different amount, the release restrictions are different for each. To release the bonus you must earn Party Points. Here is a breakdown of the bonus in each currency:
British Pounds - If your account is in British Pounds you must earn nine times the amount of the bonus in Party Points,
US/Canadian Dollars - If your account is in US or Canadian Dollars you must earn six times the amount of the bonus in Party Points,
Euro - If your account is in Euros you must earn eight times the amount of the bonus in Party Points.

Party Poker Promotions

The main promotion at Party Poker is the VIP System. The system is the replacement for rakeback on the site, as it rewards players for playing at the site with cash back and bonuses. The system has 5 levels:

RankPoints Per MonthPoints Per Quarter
Bronze0-
Silver400-
Gold1,000-
Palladium-9,000
Palladium Elite-50,000

Players can then exchange the points for a cash amount of up to $15,000 or a bonus of up to $20,000. The bonus equates to 40% rakeback, a bigger percentage then every major competitor to Party Poker.

To earn Party Points you must participate in real money cash games, tournaments, side games, bingo, casino or the sports book.

For every dollar you pay in rake on the cash tables, you will earn 2 Party Points. For every dollar you pay in tournament fees you will also receive 2 Party Points. It takes a varied amount to earn points in other areas of the site, for example it takes $200 to be wagered before a point is awarded when playing Single Deck Blackjack, but only $10 when playing slots. The points earned away from the poker table will not count towards clearing your bonuses, but will count to the VIP system.

Other promotions include a tournament and sit-n-go leader boards, a bad beat jackpot and $10,000,000 a month given away in guaranteed tournaments.

Party Poker Software and Graphics

The Party Poker software has always been known for being simple and easy to use.

You won't find advanced graphics or masses of features, but that is what makes the software so good, there are no needless buttons, stats or features that will distract you from playing poker.

You can change your table to either the old standard Party Poker background which many players would recognize, or the new, more advanced background with no avatars and a more modern feel. You can also change the color of the card backs but aside from that, nothing else is customizable.

The lobby is very easy to use but does seem to slow up older computers. It has a large resolution which will fill most small monitors and you can reach any part of the Party Company through it.

You are only a click away from playing bingo, making a bet, checking your promotions or just playing a game of poker. Also when you log in to the site, you will be greeted with a box containing current promotions and your personal promotions and bonuses that you are yet to use.

Party Poker Support

Party Poker currently offers support to players through e-mail and telephone. They normally respond in a very quick and polite manner and will usually have your problem dealt with in a reasonable amount of time. The telephone is also a toll free number so you will not be charged.

So if you have not yet signed up, visit Party Poker to check it out.
